We collect personal information that you voluntarily provide to us when you register on the website, express an interest in obtaining information about us or our products and services, when you participate in activities on the website, or otherwise when you contact us.

  • Personal Information Provided by You: We collect names; email addresses; passwords; contact preferences; and other similar information.
  • Payment Data: We may collect data necessary to process your payment if you make purchases, such as your payment instrument number (such as a credit card number), and the security code associated with your payment instrument. All payment data is stored by our payment processor.
  • Social Media Login Data: We may provide you with the option to register with us using your existing social media account details, like your LinkedIn account. If you choose to register in this way, we will collect the information described in the section called “How do we handle your social logins?” below.

3. Chrome Extension — Data Collected

When you use the ReachButler Chrome Extension, we additionally collect the following data from LinkedIn pages you explicitly interact with:

  • LinkedIn Profile Data: Profile name, professional headline, company name, LinkedIn profile URL, profile photo URL, and location — only from profiles you explicitly capture.
  • Authentication Data: User authentication tokens stored locally in your browser via Chrome’s storage API.
  • Campaign Data: Campaign selections, custom messages you create, lead interaction history, and connection request status.
  • Technical Data: Extension version and error logs to improve service quality.

We do not collect LinkedIn passwords, private messages, browsing history outside LinkedIn, or data from profiles you do not explicitly capture.

4. Chrome Extension — Permissions Explained

  • storage: Store authentication tokens and user preferences locally in your browser.
  • activeTab: Read LinkedIn profile data from the page you are currently viewing.
  • tabs: Detect when you navigate to LinkedIn pages.
  • alarms: Schedule background tasks for automated connection requests.
  • cookies: Maintain authentication state with our backend.
  • host permissions (linkedin.com): Access LinkedIn pages to extract profile data you choose to capture.
  • host permissions (reachbutler.com): Communicate securely with our backend API.

5. How We Use Your Information

We use personal information collected via our website and extension for a variety of business purposes described below. We process your personal information for these purposes in reliance on our legitimate business interests, in order to enter into or perform a contract with you, with your consent, and/or for compliance with our legal obligations.

  • To facilitate account creation and logon process.
  • To provide LinkedIn outreach automation and lead management.
  • To organize captured leads into campaigns and schedule follow-ups.
  • To track campaign performance and engagement metrics.
  • To request feedback.
  • To manage user accounts.
  • To send administrative information to you.
  • To protect our Services.
  • To enforce our terms, conditions and policies for business purposes, to comply with legal and regulatory requirements or in connection with our contract.

6. Will Your Information Be Shared With Anyone?

We only share information with your consent, to comply with laws, to provide you with services, to protect your rights, or to fulfill business obligations. We do not sell your personal information, share it with advertisers, or use it for purposes unrelated to our service. We may share data with service providers who help us operate (e.g., hosting, analytics), when required by law, or in the event of a business transfer.

7. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored on secure servers in the European Union. All data transmission uses HTTPS encryption. Authentication tokens are stored locally in your Chrome browser. We implement industry-standard security measures including encryption at rest and in transit, access controls, and regular security audits.

  • Profile data: Retained while your account is active.
  • Deleted leads: Permanently removed within 30 days.
  • Account closure: All data deleted within 90 days of account deletion request.

8. How Long Do We Keep Your Information?

We will only keep your personal information for as long as it is necessary for the purposes set out in this privacy notice, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law (such as tax, accounting, or other legal requirements).
